A sturdy book, but I have glued and taped every My grandson got this book when he was about a year old. He is 8 now. He and his little brother still want to read it all the time. A sturdy book, but I have glued and taped every page because it was used so much.. "would be great for construction lover but" according to M. Stubblefield. My 2 year old loves diggers. I thought this colorful board book would be perfect for him. His eyes lit up when he saw it and he loved looking at it and reading it. The actual binding is only a couple of inches long due to the cute cutouts. Unfortunately because of this it was ruined by the end of the day. He was not being rough with it but with his not so graceful toddler ways the binding broke. I taped it, but it doesn't hold. I would buy this book again in a heartbeat if they would make the binding
