I really, really liked the book -- and the photos! -- and commend it to your attention. The real Area 51 was at Groom Lake, near the Nevada (atom-bomb) Test Site, which became Kelly Johnson's secret test-flight airbase in the 1950s, at the suggestion of the CIA. The U2 spy plane, the SR-71 Blackbird and the F-117 Stealth fighter were all tested here. Along with many ot. "Area 51 -- demystified and ampped up" according to Joseph May.
