Outstanding, worthy of Ludlum SFCardwell This is an outstanding novel in all respects. The action is tense, the plot plausible, the characterizations good and full. Not only is the writing on a par with Robert Ludlum, this would have been one of his best. McDonald takes the old Sinclair Lewis ("It Can't Happen Here") basic idea and updates it, with a lot more action, and more believable. Interesting Cheryl Rabin Read at your own risk. The plot was intriguing but it was obvious there was little to no editing involved and it shows.This could have and should have been a 5 star book. The author hooks you from the very first page and from there it's non-stop to the end. Only problem is that about once in every two to three pages the reader is knocked out of t.
