Cute book, but not very sturdy Our 16 month old daughter loved this book from the beginning, but 2 days after we purchased it she stepped on it by accident and the pages (leaves) all ripped apart from one another. The pages/leaves are only attached to one another by about a 2 inch space so it really isn't very sturdy. It's a very sweet idea, but it is not for an active toddler. Use with adult supervision. Amazon Customer My 9 month old loves this book. She loves to turn the pages by herself and find the little animals behind the flaps. However, with use the book has not it has not worn well. The spine and pages have cracked and the book barely stays together. I have done my best to tape and repair, but once the integrity is lost, it seems to be irreperable. I lov. Very fragile book! this is a good book with lots of wildlife to point out the nice flaps but unfortunately the binding is so fragile that is difficult to read without it falling apart but alone handing it to a child. The publisher chose a very narrow binding with a very weak material that will fall apart just from the weight of the book. Hopefully future versions o
