This is an amazing read. I'm not usually one for mystery/crime novels A HINT OF MURDER is three books in one. The entire book keeps you engaged and intrigued throughout. It keeps you guessing as to who is the culprit. Who did what and for what reason. It keeps you glued to your seat as you turn from one page to next while the story stays one step ahead the entire time. The real perpetrator isn't revealed until the author decides it is time for you to know. This is an amazing read. I'm not usually one for mystery/crime novels but I highly recommend this book to everyone!. Intriguing stories, wonderful characters, effective exposition In Lia Fairchild's "A Hint of Murder" anthology, the whodunit mystery is taken to a new level. Fairchild manages suspense like a pro, revealing everything in a way that still left me guessing what exactly the outcome would be. The stories are short but well-written and intriguing enough that I read all three in one sitting. The clues are all there, and there's an AHA! moment when the outcome is revealed. Even I couldn't figure out who the killer was in two of the stories until the ending. This, in my humble opinion, is the sign of a great mystery writer: someone who can.
